Mr. DiCorpo has 22 years of experience in real estate across all sectors. Prior to joining Waypoint, he was the President of the U.S. Core Investment Platform for CBRE Global Investors. In this role, Mr. DiCorpo oversaw the firm’s $10.2 billion core investment business in the United States. Prior to this role, he served as Global Chief Operating Officer and President of CBRE Global Investor’s Europe and UK businesses. Prior to CBRE Global Investors, Mr. DiCorpo spent 13 years with AIG Global Real Estate, ultimately serving as the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer. He is active in real estate organizations such as ULI, NMHC and PREA. Mr. DiCorpo earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colgate University, a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Hartford and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business.

Bentall Kennedy, U.S.
Based in San Francisco, Amy has overall responsibility for the operating and financial performance of Bentall Kennedy’s U.S.-based businesses. Amy also serves on the Bentall Kennedy Group Management Committee, the U.S. Executive Committee and the U.S. Investment Committee.
Amy has over 20 years of experience in investment strategy and transaction execution, combined with significant management experience in asset management and finance. Amy has direct day-to-day responsibility for all asset management, financing and transactions activities in the U.S., as well as leading the account relationship with one of our significant and rapidly growing U.S. separate accounts.
Prior to joining Bentall Kennedy U.S. in 2012, Amy was a Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investing for the Western United States at Morgan Stanley, where she was an Investment Committee member and founded their San Francisco office. Amy also spent time in Morgan Stanley’s New York and Hong Kong offices.
Amy holds an MBA with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute Office Development Council and the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics Policy Advisory Board.

Mr. Michaels has been with IRE since its inception in 1983. As Director of North American Direct Real Estate, he is responsible for leading IRE’s North American business. Previously, Mr. Michaels served as Director of U.S. Portfolio Management responsible for portfolio strategy for institutional pension fund clients. Mr. Michaels is currently Chairman of IRE’s U.S. Direct Investment Committee and has responsibility for portfolio design and investment process for several of IRE’s separate account clients. He has 34 years of real estate experience including both debt and equity transactions in industrial, multifamily, retail and office properties.
Mr. Michaels holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Real Estate from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kathryn is responsible for all commercial mortgage production and direct equity investments and management in six domestic Regional Offices and Canada. This includes maximizing net investment income and proactively performing portfolio surveillance and risk management. In addition, Ms. Campbell is responsible for the business operations of the entire organization, including architectural and engineering services, certain compliance activities, staffing, and leading talent management. Prior to assuming this position in 2006, she served as Chief of Staff to two MetLife Chief Investment Officers, and was responsible for overseeing executive communications on investment strategy, portfolio positioning and asset sector performance to the Board of Directors and its Investment Committee. During her 26-year career with MetLife, she has been responsible for several investment areas, including the Real Estate Capital Markets Group, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, and MetLife’s Northeast equity real estate investments. Ms. Campbell is a member of MetLife’s Social Investments Committee, responsible for approving transactions that serve corporate social responsibility goals, and she is a Steering Committee member of MetLife’s Women’s Investment Network (WIN). She serves on the Steering Committee for the Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, and she is an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Financial Council, Mortgage Bankers Association, Urban Land Institute, WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate, and The Women’s Bond Club of New York. Prior to joining MetLife, Ms. Campbell served as a real estate consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). She holds an AB in Economics from Smith College and an MS in Accounting from New York University Stern School of Business.

As president of Hunt Realty Investments, Inc., Patricia Gibson is responsible for the overall operations and strategic direction of the company, as well as its interaction and investment relationships with other Hunt entities. Patricia joined Hunt Realty Investments, Inc. in April 1997 as Senior Vice President with responsibility for the firm’s acquisition, investment management and capital markets activities.Through direct ownership and operating partnerships, Hunt Realty Investments owns a diverse portfolio of commercial land, full service hotels, suburban office buildings, luxury apartments, industrial buildings and master planned residential communities. Hunt Realty Investments’ acquisition focus is on the expansion of its real estate investments through partnerships with experienced development and management teams along with an increased focus on structured investments.
Prior to joining Hunt Realty Investments, Pat served for three years as Senior Vice President and Director of Structured Finance at Archon Group, a subsidiary of Goldman, Sachs and Company. At Archon, she oversaw the institutional and capital market efforts for over $1 billion in commercial mortgage backed securitizations and portfolio financings.
Before joining Archon, Pat spent nine years at The Travelers Realty Investment Company where her responsibilities included loan origination, new business development, and the management and restructuring of debt and equity portfolios in excess of $500 million.
Mesa West Capital
Mr. Krauch is active in all areas of Mesa West’s operations. Prior to joining Mesa West in 2007, Mr. Krauch headed the joint venture equity acquisitions platform for Somera Capital Management, a West Coast-based value-add real estate equity funds manager. In addition to his primary responsibilities in acquiring office, industrial, retail, hotel, multi-family and specialty assets, Mr. Krauch was a management executive contributing to the growth of the company from a single-office, west coast syndication firm to a nationally oriented multi-office funds manager. Previous to Somera Capital, Mr. Krauch was a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (now IBM Global Services). Mr. Krauch received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. Mr. Krauch is the Chair of the PREA Rising Leaders Committee, and is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute.
Executive Managing Director
USAA Real Estate Company
Stanley Alterman has been with USAA Real Estate Company since 1989 and is currently Executive Managing Director. Mr. Alterman serves as head of USAA Real Estate Company’s Asset Management department, overseeing the real estate portfolio, including the industrial, office, hotel, retail, and multifamily portfolios. In addition, he oversees the Industrial Portfolio Management division. Previously, Mr. Alterman held a position in the company’s legal department. In this position, his responsibilities included providing guidance and counsel for the acquisition, sales, management, leasing, and financing of real estate. Mr. Alterman’s responsibilities also included providing legal advice on general coporate matters, risk management and corporate finance issues.
Prior to joining USAA, Mr. Alterman was an attorney with the law firm of Martin, Shannon & Drought. At the law firm, he represented clients in a variety of complex real estate and financing transactions, with an emphasis on the representation of lending institutions.
Mr. Alterman received his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin (B.B.A. 1977) and his legal education at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio (J.D 1983). He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1984.
Kevin R. Smith

Kevin R. Smith is a managing director of PGIM Real Estate and head of the Americas. Based in Madison, New Jersey, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategy and oversight of PGIM Real Estate’s businesses in the United States and Latin America. He chairs the U.S. Executive Council and is a member of the Global Management Council, the Global Investment Committee, the U.S. Investment Committee, the Latin America Executive Council and Investment Committees, the Global Product Committee and the Valuation Committee.
Most recently, Kevin was the head of PGIM Real Estate’s U.S. business from 2012 to 2014. Previously, he was the senior portfolio manager for PGIM Real Estate’s flagship core equity real estate fund, PRISA, as well as its value-add fund, PRISA III, responsible for the oversight of all aspects of each fund’s operations, including portfolio strategy, acquisitions, sales and asset management. Formerly, Kevin was the head of investment underwriting and operations for the U.S. Transactions group. He also has managed separate account portfolios for pension fund clients, as well as a series of smaller, closed-end funds.

Harrison Street Real Estate Capital
Mr. Merrill is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC, a real estate private equity firm he co-founded in 2005 that has completed over $14 billion in transactional volume and currently has over $10 billion in AUM. The firm was an innovator and early adopter of a focused investment strategy around the Education, Healthcare and Storage segments of the real estate market. Investments have been made through a series of discretionary, commingled real estate funds including an opportunistic closed end fund series (Funds I-VI) and an open-end real estate fund that have raised over $7.0 billion in discretionary equity capital. Investors in these funds come from over seven countries and include US, European and Asian Pension Funds, Corporate Plans, Insurance Companies, Endowments, Foundations and family offices. Other firm platforms include a European Student Housing strategy as well as a Real Estate Securities practice. The firm has offices in Chicago and London.
Prior to co-founding Harrison Street, Mr. Merrill was a partner, owner and Managing Director of a large US Pension Fund Advisory firm where he developed the firm’s presence in Europe, creating the first ever real estate funds exclusively targeting the markets of Central Europe. This initial fund was one of the Top 10 performing global funds during vintage years 1996-2000 as noted by Preqin.
In recent years, National Real Estate Investor Magazine has named him one of the “10 To Watch” leaders in the industry, PERE nominated him as one of the top real estate executives in North America and Real Estate Forum named him one of “Chicago’s Real Estate Icons.” Mr. Merrill is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), The Real Estate Advisory Board of two Chicago based family offices (Gore Creek and Kinship Capital), The First Tee of Greater Chicago Board, The Economic Club of Chicago, the Chicago Commonwealth Club and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Mr. Merrill earned his MBA in the evening from the CASS school of business in London, England.

Mr. Kern is responsible for overseeing the firm’s business strategy, activities and staff in the Americas. Mr. Kern also serves on LaSalle’s Global Management Committee and LaSalle’s Americas Private Equity Investment Committee and Allocation Committee.
Mr. Kern is active in various industry organizations and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE).
Prior to joining LaSalle, Mr. Kern worked at the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), where he founded, and was the Head of, HSBC’s Asia-Pacific Real Estate & Lodging Advisory Group. In this role, Jason worked on over $50 billion in capital raising and advisory transactions in the real estate sector. Prior to joining HSBC, Kern spent seventeen years at J.P. Morgan, principally in senior roles within the real estate investment banking team, and was based in J.P. Morgan offices in the U.S., U.K., Continental Europe and Asia.
Mr. Kern earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics and English Literature from Colgate University.

Mr. Brown is responsible for setting and implementing BREA’s corporate policies and strategic initiatives. He has oversight of all facets of BREA’s investment operations, including establishing the vision, culture, corporate citizenship and short and long term goals, all in keeping with high standards for ethical behavior and integrity. In addition, Mr. Brown oversees the investment side of the business globally – debt and equity, private and public, and up and down the capital stack including research, strategy, portfolio management, acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, valuations, engineering, client service, and product and business development. Mr. Brown also serves on all of BREA’s Investment Committees.
Mr. Brown began his career in real estate investment and portfolio management in 1986 which has included managing businesses and leading large teams through the investment decision making processes. Mr. Brown’s experience has been global across all property sectors and capital structures including joint ventures, co-investments, clubs, preferred equity, mezzanine, performing and non-performing debt, securitizations, REITs, secondary and primary funds, and direct property investments.
Prior to joining BREA (formerly known as Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers) in 2014, Mr. Brown was Head of the Americas of CBRE Global Investment Partners, a discretionary real estate investment management company. In this capacity he managed global investment, portfolio management, client service, house views and preferred strategies, and product and business development. Mr. Brown was a member of the CBRE GIP Investment Committee and Board of Directors, and the CBRE Global Investors Americas Operating Board. Mr. Brown was formerly Head of Global Real Estate at Ennis Knupp + Associates (now Hewitt EnnisKnupp an Aon Company) where he established the global real estate practice and chaired the Investment Committee. Mr. Brown also previously held the positions of Senior Department Head of The PrivateEdge Group at State Street Corporation, and Consulting Manager at Kenneth Leventhal & Co.
Mr. Brown earned a BA degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, an MS degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, and is a CFA Charter holder. His industry affiliations have included Chair of the NCREIF’s Performance Measurement Committee, founding member of NCREIF’s REIS Council, member of the PREA Research Committee, Chair of the CFA Institute’s – GIPS Real Estate Sub-committee, and member of the GIPS Private Equity Sub-committee. Mr. Brown is currently a NCREIF Board Member .
