During the NAREIM Talent Management Meeting, members discussed the realities of return to office strategies, the impact of hybrid work on onboarding and training as well as DEI strategies and solutions.
Members also dived into total compensation trends in an increasingly tight labor market, and discussed in manager-only sessions the tools peers were using to evaluate compensation practices, as well as the impact of flex schedules and regional differentiation on compensation.

A live poll was taken of members addressing 6 questions on return to office strategies. Questions addressed: mandatory in-office attendance; vaccination policies; caregiver accomodations; flex schedules; new employee onboarding and in-office attendance; extra benefits.
